SSC CGL
The Staff Selection Commission conducts the SSC CGL exam to recruit candidates into various organizations, departments, offices under the Government of India. It is a national level exam and recruitment to Group B and Group C posts in government departments is done through this exam.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidate needs to be a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan
· Candidate can also be a Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before January 1, 1962
· Minimum age should be 18 years and maximum should be 32 years (age criteria depends on the post)
· Educational Qualifications:
o For the post of Assistant Accounts or Audit Officer, candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree from any recognized institute or university
o For the post of a Junior Statistical Officer, the candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university/institute
o One of the degree-level subjects needs to be Mathematics or statistics
o the candidate needs a minimum of 60% marks in the 12th standard
For other posts, candidates need a bachelor’s degree from any recognized institute or university
